Situated in the heart of the Chianti region, this ancient stone built farmhouse has been recently renovated in typical Tuscan style and in keeping with the ancient structure, with terracotta floors and wooden beamed ceilings. From the gardens and the pool there is a breathtaking 180° view of the rolling chianti hills, covered with the vines which produce some of the worlds most renowned wines. On the horizon you can see the ancient tower of San Gimignano which is just 30 mins drive away.
An ideal place for discovering the many splendours of Tuscany in this wonderful part of Italy where you can savour the regional flavours of the food and wine and visit some of the most interesting historical and cultural places in that Italy has to offer. An excellent place for a completely relaxing and revitalising holiday.
The villa is 6 km from Castellina in Chianti, which is half way between Florence and Siena. Visits to both Florence and Siena will take you on a fascinating drive through the vine covered hills and many ancient castles and villas
Close to the villa you will find a typical bar and restaurant which is open during the summer months.
